Summer is a critical time for students in their academic journeys. Students at all grade levels can digress up to two or three months in their academic skills due to a nonacademic summer. The following resources may help guide summer programming and help raise awareness for parents in order to prevent summer learning loss.

The resources provided deal with arts-related programming in general and certain practices may not be applicable to 21st CCLC. If you are unsure if a recommended practice is permissible, please contact your program officer at the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
